Come celebrate Halloween with Aztec Two-Step featuring Rex & Friends. Costumes are optional, but encouraged!
The story of Aztec Two-Step is intertwined with the history of folk-rock music in America, originating from a chance meeting at an open mic night in a Boston folk club in 1971. Taking their band’s name from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, ATS burst on the scene in 1972 with their self-titled debut album on Elektra Records, and Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman went on to spend a lifetime making music together. 

Now, after 47 years of touring, Neal has taken himself off the road following the passing of his beloved wife Karen. With his love and encouragement, the ATS legacy continues as Rex welcomes to the Aztec Two-Step stage the incomparable Steven “Muddy” Roues on upright bass, blues harp and vocals (Roues Brothers, Jon Pousette-Dart); and on guitars, keyboards and vocals, Dodie Pettit (original cast member of Broadway’s “Phantom of the Opera”; “CATS”; and session player on Aztec’s “Times of Our Lives”).
