Eleanor is an original musical theatre production written and produced by Greenwich resident Suzanne Cohen, based on the amazing life of Eleanor Roosevelt. Talented soprano Nellie Rustick Meier stars as Eleanor Roosevelt. Franklin Roosevelt is played by Joe Phillips, and Hick (Lorena Hickok) is played by Angela Potrikus.
Susi Thomas choreographed the production, and Justan J. Foster is Eleanor's musical director. Other cast members are Timothy Banfield as President Theodore Roosevelt, Margot Phillips as Lucy Page Mercer, Warren Schultz as Elliott Roosevelt, and Rachel Wells as Anna Roosevelt.
Cohen wrote this musical because she believes that Eleanor Roosevelt led a life that is an inspiration to us all. Cohen will be accepting a 2018 Community Grant from the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council on Saturday, May 12th. Tickets, $18.00, may be purchase at Brown Paper Tickets or at the door. Seating is general.
