On Friday March 1 at 7pm The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen, learn about and discuss the classic 1971 album “Aqualung” by Jethro Tull at The Strand Theatre 210 Main St. in Hudson Falls.
Released in 1971 “Aqualung” is the 4th studio album by Jethro Tull and the best selling album of their career. Featuring hits such as the title song, “Hymn 43” and “Locomotive Breath”, “Aqualung” dives deep into social issues of the times that are still relevant today with an approach to the music that still sounds fresh.
The Listening Party begins at 7:30 pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and the stories that made this iconic album.
Light refreshments will be available. Rochmon Record Club is presented by Universal Preservation Hall. The Rochmon Record Club is presented on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at Caffe’ Lena in Saratoga Springs (caffelena.org for tickets) and on the last Thursday of every month at The Linda – WAMC’s Performing Arts Studio in Albany (thelinda.org for tickets.
