Professor Louie has performed on The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise numerous times. The Crowmatix have 15 studio CD's on the Woodstock Records label. Their recordings have consistently stayed on the RMR Charts in the top 50. Louie became a part of The Band’s legacy: co-producing, engineering and performing on their three final albums, a collaborating touring member of The Band from 1985 to 1999 until Rick Danko’s passing. It was during this time that Rick Danko christened Louie “Professor Louie” in respect to his being their musical arranger and the glue that kept everything together. Their song “Melody Of Peace”, released on The Woodstock Records label won the Naxos arrangement and original composition award. Inspired by the five night sold out performances onThe CBS 6 TV Special “Melodies Of Christmas” at The Proctors Theater in Schenectady, NY in front of 15,000 people per week, has been viewed in three million homes on CBS 6. This show has featured Professor Louie & The Crowmatix song “Melody Of Peace” four times including this year 2020. “Melodies Of Christmas” over the past has raised over $9,500,000 for The Melodies Ward in The Children’s Hospital at Albany Med NY In 2021 Woodstock Records released Professor Louie & The Crowmatix documentary MUSIC FROM HURLEY MOUNTAIN available on Woodstock Records and Amazom Prime video. Grammy Nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have been inducted into The New York State Blues Hall of Fame and hold a permanent place in The Canada South Blues Museum.
