On Saturday, March 5th at 2 PM at The Strand Theater in Hudson Falls, six of our area’s most celebrated artists will give a concert entirely of their original compositions, including several world premieres. Sharing the stage together for the first time, Greg Auffredou (percussion), John Benware (piano, horn), Anthime Miller (cello, voice), Catherine Reid (piano), Tania Susi (violin, viola) and Adam York (saxophone) will join forces to provide a unique and exciting program of new music, composed right in our own backyard - music that you can hear no where else in the world. This diverse and engaging program includes three world premieres - A Glimmer of Hope for tenor sax, piano and drums by Benware, as well as two pieces by Reid - Late Night Reverie for cello and piano, and piano four hands piece. Also on the program is a new cello arrangement of Benware’s Sonata for Horn, an abridged version of Miller’s score Wellspring which premiered at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London in 2016 and many more. Tickets will be available at the door - $15 general admission, $10 for students and seniors. Children under 5 get in free. Please join us in supporting and celebrating living and local artists and their efforts to share their work with their community!
