Monsters of Rock:
Tommy T (aka the dog whisperer) – Lead vocals Shortly after young Tommy T was bitten by a wolf in a bizarre hiking incident in upstate NY, he realized he had an uncanny connection with our canine friends. The occasional serenade under a full moon quickly evolved to much more. After years of entrancing our canine friends with his soothing, ultrasonic crooning, Tommy decided it was time to expand his range a few octaves lower so others could listen. He has performed around the world - for “creatures” great and small - in many different styles and languages. Singing with Monsters of Rock gives Tommy an opportunity he truly treasures… to howl to a group of creatures he can truly relate to… creatures like himself….the metal heads… (and he continues to hypnotize our furry friends any chance he gets!)
Billy Brown – Bass and backing vocals, Born within the molten core of a dying thermite reaction, Billy Brown has been called the David Hasselhoff of high school chemistry teachers (more popular in Europe than at home). The previous front man of Without A Cause, Billy has rested his voice and honed his skills on the electric bass in a locked dungeon in a nearby suburb. He was patiently waiting for the opportunity to join a group that was known for melting faces. Monsters of Rock was that opportunity. Built upon Dog Shack hot dogs and Nick Tahou garbage plates, Billy is hoping to be the stable bass of the Monsters of Rock rhythm section.
Tyler Carey – Drums and backing vocals, After graduating from evil medical school, Dr. Tyler Rockinstein gathered the living flesh from many musicians to form the world’s greatest multi-instrumentalist. By attaching the arms of a bassist, the feet and legs of a drummer, the fingers of a keyboardist, the heart of a guitarist, and the head of a singer to the body of an artist to form the Rockinstein monster. Although Rockinstein is afraid of fire, he isn’t afraid to rock.
Donnie V Lackey – Lead guitar, backing vocals, While fishing in a mysterious lagoon, Donnie was attacked by some sort of half man, half fish, creature. Surviving the attack, it wasn’t long before he noticed that he had started to acquire scales. All kinds of scales including major, minor, pentatonic, diminished, chromatic, and fortunately, none of the fishy kind! (Although, he does enjoy seafood even more since that fateful day.) His love for seafood, however, is outshined by his love for music, especially 80’s metal! It’s been about 40 years since he started playing guitar and he does so as one of the lead guitarists of Monsters of Rock! These days, it’s more likely you’ll find him performing on stage than fishing in some dark lagoon!
Dave “Stimpy” Stimpson – Lead guitar and backing vocals, A long, long, long time ago in a far, far, far away town with the initials of FE, Dave ‘STIMPY’ was born to a couple that only went out at night! Growing up, STIMPY fine-tuned his senses and learned to hear and feel the music - not see or read it! When only a youngling he perfected his acrobatic air-guitar playing in front of the mirror with the household broom (with the reflection only showing the broom). As a young teenager he was introduced to the guitar and took to it right away. The guitar was black in color and resembled the darkness of the night! Shut in during the day he taught himself how to play guitar only to come out at night to shred the guitar. As the 80’s hair metal scene came about, STIMPY felt right in place playing lead guitar. After all of these years you can see him at night as the 2nd half of the Monsters of Rock’s lead guitar arsenal sucking down “Bloody” Marys and waiting for the lights to go down so the ROCK can begin!”
Stephen Von Schiller – Keyboards and backing vocals, Many don't know the true identity of Stephen Von Schiller, but he knew he could never keep it a secret for too long. As a young lover of cookies, his address was none other than 123 Sesame Street, where the air was clean, and cookies were bountiful. In order to fit in, he quickly learned to imitate Grover, Ernie, and Kermit the Frog, but soon had to take on his own identity as, you guessed it, Cookie Monster. Learning music was easy since they rarely counted past 4 and recited the letters A thru G incessantly. Amazingly enough, after reconstructive surgery on his furry mitts, Von Schiller became an accomplished keyboardist and was able to learn all 88 keys. This bio was brought to you by the letters B and W and the number 4.
