Hudson River Music Hall Productions will present the next installment of its newest Original Program, “Under the Porchlights 3--Storytelling at The Strand….Summer Thrumming,”  on Saturday, August 12, at 2 p.m. & 7 pm,  AND Sunday, August 13, at 2 pm.

The Caravan Players, the HRMHP’s house theatre group, has created 3 separate presentations inspired by two popular NPR radio programs, “Selected Shorts” and “The Moth Radio Hour.” Each program this weekend will feature 6 different local performers.   

Each performer will transport theatre-goers on 18 separate journeys through the magic of fiction or a personal life event.  And each presentation will deal with the varied threads, the emotions, the “thrumming” of experiences associated often with summer.  

The Caravan Players invites neighbors and friends to stop by,  “Sit a Spell," and enjoy a beverage & snack as we share our stories. Come Celebrate both the written and the spoken word. 

 Our Storytellers this time include:                                              

Ally Burgess, Riley Eggleston, Kellie Fitzpatrick, Kim Fitzpatrick,  Larry Fox, Griffin Geer, Gavin Herrick, Phil Jessen, Jakoby LaPlante, Lauren Newell, Kallie Norton, Mark Rabin, Mary Pat Rabin,  Pamela Roberge, Rene’ Roberge, Lisa Holstein-Wells, Emily Whipple, and Liz Winge. 

“Under the Porchlights….Storytelling at The Strand” is conceived  by Caravan Players’ Director Rene' Roberge.  Technical help is provided by Dave Wilcox & Dave Larrow and Strand volunteers Diane SantaCroce, MaryAnn Center, Lynn & Ed Mahan, and MaryEllen Barlow; as well as Executive Assistant KC Morgan, Business Manager Nick Buttino, and HRMHP Executive Director, Jonathan Newell. 

For your one-time ADMISSION charge of $12 (cash or check only)  at the door before each program, you may attend one, two, or ALL three programs.  No reservations are necessary. The Strand Theatre is located at 210 Main St., Hudson Falls, NY.
