Sonia Susi is a NYC based violinist, currently majoring and soon to be graduating in Violin Performance at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Some of Sonia’s recent endeavors include playing concertmaster in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel at the Kupferberg Center in April 2024, playing in the orchestra for Handel’s Alcina at the Saluzzo Opera Academy in Saluzzo, Italy in July 2024, and playing in a string quartet for Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi at QSVI (Queens Summer Vocal Institute) in August 2024. Other highlights and festivals Sonia has participated include the Mostly Modern Festival Orchestra in Saratoga Springs, New York and being awarded the “Outstanding Soloist” award at Festival Disney in Orlando, Florida. Some of Sonia’s recording credits include tracks on Indie band Eyeless Owl’s ‘Murmurations’ and Filibuster Saloon’s ‘Going off Topic’.
Donovan Iemma is a NYC based pianist currently studying and soon to be graduating at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Donovan started studying piano at the Center for Preparatory Studies in Music in Flushing, New York, where he studied with Pamela Russell and Joseph Liccardo. Donovan attended high school at Special Music School at the Kaufman Music Center in Lincoln Center before beginning his studies at ACSM. Some of Donovan’s recent appearances include participating and winning first place in the Annual Bach Competition at ACSM, Montclair Music Club Chamber Music Series, and the David Katz Steinway Donation at Queens College.
