A musical journey through the hits and deep tracks of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers featuring Johnny Clifford. The BrokenHearted-Tom Petty Tribute: Formed in 2013 the band is fronted by Singer/Guitarist Johnny Clifford, an upstate New York native. Johnny's love for the music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers goes back to 1980. Johnny's been singing and performing Petty classics since the 80s in area bands such as Panache, Dr Gator's Medicine Show and Dirt Cheap among others. On drums and backing vocals is Frank Affinito who also plays in Dirt Cheap. On bass is local favorite James Cappello, also a member of Capital Region favorite Blue Hand Luke. On keyboards is Matt Donnelly currently with The South Street Saints and a Yes Tribute named Alice Frost. The goal of The BrokenHearted is to present the vibe of a Tom Petty concert with an emphasis on providing a really good time to the listeners. Expect to be entertained!!
